Aprovechamos la coyuntura para hacer publica la declaraci\u00f3n del CIP.<\/strong><\/em>  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nosotros, en el Comit\u00e9 Internacional de Planificaci\u00f3n para la Soberan\u00eda Alimentaria (CIP), representamos a los pescadores a peque\u00f1a escala, incluidos los pueblos ind\u00edgenas de los cuatro movimientos mundiales, el Foro Mundial de Pescadores y Trabajadores de la Pesca (WFF), el Foro Mundial de Pueblos Pescadores (WFFP), el Consejo Internacional de Tratados Indios (CITI) y La V\u00eda Campesina (LVC). Nuestros grupos se extienden por todo el mundo y tanto las comunidades pesqueras costeras como las del interior.\u00a0<\/span>  &nbsp;  <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hoy recordamos que el D\u00eda Mundial de la Pesca (DMP) lleva nuestra rica historia y se celebr\u00f3 por primera vez cuando formamos los movimientos mundiales de pescadores (WFFP\/WFF) en Delhi en 1997. En aquel entonces, denunciamos la pesca industrial y la acuicultura porque ambos sectores traen consigo la destrucci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y la expropiaci\u00f3n de las comunidades pesqueras, y decidimos que este d\u00eda de nuestro nacimiento, el D\u00eda Mundial de la Pesca, ser\u00eda un d\u00eda para celebrar la pesca de captura a peque\u00f1a escala a nivel internacional.
