Declaraci\u00f3n del Grupo de Pesca Artesanal de la CIP<\/em><\/strong> Hoy es el D\u00eda de los Derechos Humanos, el mismo d\u00eda en que la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas aprob\u00f3 la Declaraci\u00f3n Universal de los Derechos Humanos (DUDH) en 1948. La DUDH es un documento hist\u00f3rico que proclama los derechos inalienables a los que toda persona tiene derecho como ser humano: equidad e igualdad, no discriminaci\u00f3n, consulta y participaci\u00f3n, dignidad humana y derecho a la seguridad alimentaria Sobre estos mismos derechos humanos y principios de derechos humanos se elaboraron las Directrices voluntarias para la pesca sostenible a peque\u00f1a escala en el contexto de la seguridad alimentaria y la erradicaci\u00f3n de la pobreza.<\/span> El tema del D\u00eda de los Derechos Humanos de este a\u00f1o es la igualdad y la no discriminaci\u00f3n, como deja claro el art\u00edculo 1 de la DUDH: \u00abTodos los seres humanos nacen libres e iguales en dignidad y derechos\u00bb.
