Sin embargo, la mayor\u00eda de los gobiernos e instituciones no los reconocen debidamente. En un contexto de aumento del hambre y la inseguridad alimentaria, esto ya no puede aceptarse. En el <strong>World Fisheries Day 2023<\/strong>, el CIP reitera su <strong>llamamiento a los gobiernos<\/strong> para que apoyen a las comunidades de pescador@s artesanales mediante acciones pol\u00edticas espec\u00edficas, con el fin de aliviarles de la presi\u00f3n del cambio clim\u00e1tico, la industria pesquera y los proyectos de econom\u00eda azul que est\u00e1n expulsando a los pescadores artesanales de sus aguas. \u00bfC\u00f3mo cambiar este escenario? El <strong>Grupo de Trabajo sobre Pesca del CIP<\/strong> tiene algunas propuestas, basadas en una nueva <strong>Evaluaci\u00f3n centrada en las personas<\/strong> sobre la aplicaci\u00f3n de las Directrices PPE en la regi\u00f3n de Asia y el Pac\u00edfico.  <strong>Hoy presentamos este nuevo informe y un llamamiento a la acci\u00f3n a los gobiernos de la regi\u00f3n. El mensaje es claro: necesitamos que las Directrices para la Pesca en Peque\u00f1a Escala se apliquen de forma vinculante a trav\u00e9s de las leyes nacionales.
