La r\u00e9union se d\u00e9roule virtuellement du 15 au 18 janvier 2024. La mission du sous-comit\u00e9 est de fournir des conseils techniques et politiques essentiels sur la <strong>gouvernance et la gestion des p\u00eaches<\/strong>. L&rsquo;objectif est de faire progresser le Code de conduite de la FAO pour une p\u00eache responsable et d&rsquo;identifier les questions et tendances mondiales importantes en mati\u00e8re de gestion des p\u00eaches et de d\u00e9veloppement durable qui n\u00e9cessitent des mesures urgentes, en proposant des orientations et des recommandations pour y r\u00e9pondre.  Cette r\u00e9union marque le d\u00e9but d&rsquo;une ann\u00e9e importante de mobilisation pour les communaut\u00e9s de p\u00eacheurs \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle, car 2024 marque le <strong>10e anniversaire des Directives volontaires visant a\u0300 assurer la durabilite\u0301 de la pe\u0302che artisanale<\/strong>, approuv\u00e9es en 2014 par le Comit\u00e9 des p\u00eaches de la FAO (COFI). C&rsquo;est pourquoi <strong>le CIP a lanc\u00e9 une d\u00e9claration mondiale<\/strong> exprimant sa pr\u00e9occupation quant \u00e0 la reconnaissance marginale des Directives volontaires pour la s\u00e9curisation de la p\u00eache durable \u00e0 petite \u00e9chelle et au manque de mise en \u0153uvre au niveau national. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foodsovereignty.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/FRA-IPC-General-Statement-SUb-Committee.pdf\"><strong>LIRE NOTRE D\u00c9CLARATION<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p> Nous continuerons \u00e0 insister sur la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de mettre en \u0153uvre correctement les lignes directrices dans les l\u00e9gislations nationales, afin de garantir que les droits des p\u00eacheurs soient reconnus, prot\u00e9g\u00e9s et promus de mani\u00e8re ad\u00e9quate.
