As peoples who share the food system and Mother Earth, Agroecology is ours and is built by our movements based on our ancestral knowledge and more recent decades of practical experience. This vision of Agroecology takes into account all the diversity in the production, collection and consumption of food by our peoples.

    About the Working Group

    What is the IPC+ Agroecology Working Group?

    The working group is a space for struggle, articulation and convergence of social movements and organizations of indigenous peoples, to defend our territories and promote our rights to territory and land. The members are the member organizations of the IPC, but support organizations also participate. Read more

    History of the Agroecology Working Group

    The history of humanity is the struggle and defense of Mother Earth. Today we are faced with disrespect and violation of human rights, collective and territorial. The construction of democracies is fading to make way for totalitarian and repressive States, corporations are merging to create megafusions and control the entire food chain and its production.
